Tap your toes and sing along in this splashy adaptation of the world’s most celebrated movie musical.
The ‘Greatest Movie Musical of All Time’ has been lovingly adapted for the stage by Broadway legends Betty Comden and Adolph Green. Pouring with laughs, charm, romance and wit, it’s high energy dance numbers and parade of famous hits include ‘Good Mornin’, ‘Make ’em Laugh’ and the show stopping title song that comes complete with rainstorm!
Although the world’s at his feet, silent movie heartthrob Don Lockwood is having problems. The movie studio’s zest for tabloid headlines means his famous co-star thinks they are getting married, a new phenomenon “Talking pictures” is taking the world by storm, and the girl he’s fallen for has just told him that his acting stinks. It’s enough to make or break his career! With his best friend Cosmo, he’s hoping they can figure out a way to save the picture, outwit his scheming co-star and tell the girl how he feels!
This 60 minute version of the toe tapping, hilarious tribute to the golden-age of movie making is perfect for everyone!
