The Claremont College Musical Theatre class presents ALL SHOOK UP!

A hilarious and heartfelt musical with an original book by Joe DiPietro, creator of the Tony Award®-winning musical MEMPHIS.

Loosely based on Shakespeare’s Twelth Night. Set in 1955, it tells the story of Chad, a charismatic, guitar-playing rebel who arrives in a small, conservative town and turns it upside down with his infectious rock ‘n’ roll music. His arrival sparks excitement and challenges the town’s rigid social norms, creating a whirlwind of change.

As Chad introduces the townspeople to the joy and freedom of rock ‘n’ roll, they find themselves swept up in the music and energy of songs like “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “All Shook Up.”

Featuring mega hits from the beloved Elvis® catalogue, this musical fantasy will have you jumpin’ out of your blue suede shoes.  Key characters like Natalie, a dream-filled mechanic, and Dennis, her loyal best friend, navigate the hilarious and heartfelt chaos that Chad’s presence brings.
